Data collection

Seamless data onboarding via API

To enable access to the crypto data we need to produce detailed Baseline and Comprehensive reports, banks and their clients have multiple options: either create and send us a .CSV file, provide you wallets or, read-only access to crypto wallets and exchanges via API keys.

Consent-based.
Safety-first.

API key technology enables us to pull information – quickly, securely and directly – from wallet addresses and exchange accounts in much the same way that a portfolio tracker tool does. It’s easy to set up and control, and because it’s consent-based it’s the safer, more convenient route to moving crypto into traditional banks.

Advantage
API

Security

Unlike an email account or old-school attachment, an API connection can’t be hacked or viewed by third parties without express permission.

Trust

Because an API connection is more secure, it’s more trusted. Data pulled via API can’t be edited or amended, so it’s more easily verifiable and banks can place more faith in its veracity.

Reliability

More reliable data is better data. Higher quality data with fewer gaps and errors (and no overlapping files) is delivered more speedily via API. Because there’s no risk of tampering, it enables us to produce clearer, more accurate risk reports.

Speed

Grant us access using API keys, and it’ll take mere seconds to read the information we need to see. Creating .CSV files, however, involves far more time and effort. Once a secure API connection is in place, Cense will do all the hard yards for you.

Control

With API, you’ll stay in control – always – and you or your client can choose to revoke API keys at any time. Our access to exchanges and wallets is read-only by design. It’s impossible for us to move, trade or withdraw funds.
